I recently had the opportunity to sit down and discuss my life, creative impulses, and current exhibition 'This Must Be The Place'with local radio extraordinaire Tim Bowring as part of his show ZERO HOUR on Richmond Independent Radio. I'm pleased to announce my first solo exhibition, taking place at Shockoe Artspace in Richmond, Virginia between March 2 - May 26, 2018. The opening reception will be held at the galleries 19th street location on March 2 from 6-9pm, and will be followed by an artist talk on March 3 from 2-3:30pm.
I will have a small selection of photographs and works on paper included in a group exhibition curated by Alyona Coureau for Current Curators, taking place September 22 - October 22, 2017. Titled how to keep the [inner] peace, this exhibition is one portion of OUTSIDE SALON, a three-part group showcase event being put together by Current Curators, a non-profit organization working in support of independent curators. The show will open at the historic studio building at 56 Bogart St. in Brooklyn on Friday, September 22, from 5-9 PM.
I'm pleased to announce that I will be showing a selection of works on paper with Shockoe Artspace at this years CURRENT Art Fair, taking place September 28 - October 1 at Main Street Station in Richmond, Virginia.
